QEP Resources utilizes university recruiting as a critical piece of our company hiring strategy. QEP employees participate in recruiting events at many universities around the country. We target top students in each discipline to be a part of our summer internship program or offer full-time opportunities for graduates.
1. What does QEP look for in collegiate and graduate-level candidates for internships?
We are committed to providing college interns and graduates with rewarding opportunities. Our most successful candidates are smart, motivated and eager to contribute. In addition to working one-on-one with their managers, our interns and new graduates are assigned mentors to assist in their development.
2. What should I expect as an intern?
You can expect an atmosphere where you learn and immediately contribute to our business through real-world projects; have the opportunity to meet and work with senior leadership with access to industry-leading technical experts in an open-door culture; and gain in-house, on-the-job experience as well participate in professional training and development opportunities.
